Dear Friends of German Comedy,
I hope you’re all enjoying the glorious weather. I’ve just come back from a fortnight’s worth of gigs in Scotland and the weather was right bonnie throughout.
Edinburgh certainly is a lot nicer outside the Fringe. Without any Herbert, or should that be Hamish (?), creating a massive racket by blowing into a sheep’s stomach in the name of tradition you’re in for a treat.
Speaking of treats: have a look at this video from the recent Acid Wehn prize draw. All winners have been notified but not all winners have replied.
Thanks so much for everyone who has come to see Acid Wehn! Climate change certainly is a far less controversial topic to discuss than Covid, which was the subject of It’ll All Come Out In The Wash. As of now only very few people seem to believe that sitting on the sofa with a mask on will protect them from climate change.
Anyway, enough of that.
Thanks again and have a great summer
Henning
PS: Please find below a list of upcoming tour shows. It would be great to see you at one of those. There will also be a tour of small arts centres in the Scottish Highlands in September but the exact dates haven’t been agreed yet.
