Acid Wehn is back on the road later this month!
I can’t wait to travel up and down this green and pleasant land again. Two particular highlights will be a night off in Blackpool, the best place to fight Jocks if you haven’t got the time or inclination to go all the way to Glasgow or Benidorm, and being on the Isle of Man in time for the TT. Vroom vroom!!
I’m also very much looking forward to the time off on the actual Scottish leg of the tour. Five days are plenty long enough for a bikepacking jaunt of the Borders, a hugely underrated holiday destination.
By far the best bit of tour scheduling is I don’t have to go to the USA. Back in 2008 I was offered a place on Last Comic Standing, an American stand-up/reality show mash up. I turned it down as I couldn’t see any positive outcome. If I had done badly, it would have been a waste of time. And if I had done well, I would have had to spend a lot of time over there. Lose-lose.
